Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Coach (“we,” “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you give us to build your application materials, we use it only to run the service, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

1. What we collect

Application material you provide. Your interview answers, exercises, activities, drafts, and anything else you type or paste into a session. This can include personal stories and other sensitive information you choose to share — share only what you are comfortable using in your application.

Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We never see your Google password.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store the plan purchased, the email used at checkout, and the amount — never your card number.

Technical data. IP address (used for rate limiting) and service-usage metrics such as token counts.

2. How we use it

To operate the service: your material is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses, stored so you can resume your session, and used to compute your outputs. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who it is shared with

Only service providers that make the product work: Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), and our hosting provider (storage). We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the service from abuse.

4. Retention and deletion

Session content is retained so you can return to it during the application season. You can request deletion of your sessions and account data at any time by emailing thekapuyas@gmail.com from the relevant account (or with the session link), and we will delete it within 30 days except where we must keep records of purchases.

5. Children

The service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them; if we learn we have, we will delete it. Users under 18 should use the service with a parent or guardian’s permission.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and payment credentials never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it by emailing us. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the rights to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
